Old Oak F.C has
been in existence since 1970 and has built a reputation as a
well organised honest club.
The Club's Chairman has been with them since it started .
The Club over the years has involved itself in a number of
charity fund
raising events.
The highlights of the charity events being a match with an
Arsenal X1 in
1995 attracting a crowd of 800 raising £4,500 and match to
mark the opening
of their new ground in 2001 against a Spurs X1 with a crowd
of over 200
raising £1,000.
In recent years it has arranged tours in this Country and
Europe and
continues to build its reputation.
The team have appeared in a series of TV commercials and
were once named
"Team Of The Week" by a national newspaper.
In the 2002/2003
season, Old Oak FC entered a new team under the name of
Woodstock Park FC and they were glad to have been accepted
into the British
Energy Kent County Football League as part of their natural
expansion
programme.
When the club
arrived at Woodstock there were 5 teams playing 75
games per season and they have developed the ground to
accommodate 25 teams
playing almost 500 games per year.
