Old Oak FC and sister team Woodstock Park
FC receive sponsorship and support from many local businesses who
always seem to stick with the Sittingbourne Club for years as reported
in recent weeks with long term kit sponsors EDS. The good work they
have put in over the years continues to pay dividends.
The club are now delighted to welcome back
a sponsor from their past who supported the club for many years when
he was manager of the former Sittingbourne banqueting venue the Regis
Suite.
Phil Clemments sponsored the club for a
very long period through the 80's and and early 90's but the
connection was broken when following the Regis Suites closure 10 years
ago he took on The Dover Castle in Teynham. The club are pleased to
welcome Phil back as a sponsor and he has provided them with 40 rain
jackets for team members and officials of both Woodstock Park FC and
Old Oak FC. The Jackets have the clubs name on the front and The
Dover Castle on the back.
The connection between the Club and pub
being forged or re-forged by the Woodstock players who stop off
at The Dover Castle on their return journeys from away County
League East games which are normally in Margate, Deal, Dover,
Canterbury and Ashford.
The picture enclosed shows Phil presenting
the first Jacket to Woodstock Park and Old Oak FC Vice-Chairman Martin
Brown at the Teynham Pub on Friday evening.
